OGSG DISCLOSE CNG CONVERSION PROCEDURES
In a bid to make transportation more affordable and accessible to the citizenry, Ogun State government has disclosed procedures for conversion of vehicles using Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) powered enabled engine. 

Commissioner for Transportation, Engr. Olugbenga Dairo, revealed this, while fielding questions from newsmen in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, saying the conversion process would be in three stages; Pre-Inspection of Vehicles by Vehicle Inspection Services (VIS) in conjunction with the conversion center technicians, Approval for Computerised Vehicle Inspection, as well as Conversion and Certification by the Conversion Manager and on-site.

The Commissioner added that there were two conversion centres and three gas refilling stations available in the state, which members of the public could visit for successful conversion of their vehicles.

"As we speak, we have two conversion centres, which are; Nigeria Gas Transport Solution Ltd (NGTSL), located at Ogun State Public Works Agency, Agbeloba, Abeokuta, and NEXT GEN LTD, at 37, Olorunsogo, Abiola Way, Abeokuta, while the three refilling stations are; Green Fuel at Lagos-Abeokuta Express road, Obada, Abeokuta, Gasco Marine, Abeokuta, Lagos-Abeokuta Express road, Obada and Nioco Gas, Mowe/Ibafo, Sagamu-Lagos Express Way”, he stressed.

Also, the Commissioner, has identified locations where batteries of E-Bikes, provided by Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration could be reenergised at affordable prices. They are; MKO Abiola Stadium, Kuto; Skating Ground, Panseke; Opposite Fatgbems Filling Station, Oke-Sokori; Enu-Gada; Ramada Filling Station, Asero; Carry Go at Rounder and Ogun State Public Works Agency premises, Agbeloba, all in Abeokuta
