OGSG TO COMMENCE SECOND PHASE OF VEHICULAR EMISSION SCHEME

 The Ogun State government is set to commence the second phase of the Vehicular Emission Scheme to reduce the environmental and health impact of vehicle emissions.

This was revealed in a release signed by the Special Adviser to the Governor of the State on Environmental Protection Agency(OGEPA), Alhaji Farouk Akintunde, saying that, the step was to improve the quality of life of the citizens.

It further disclosed that the second phase would take off on Monday 7th July, 2025.

While calling on the citizens and residents of the State to cooperate with the staff of the Ogun State Environmental Protection Agency and Security agencies as they emback on the programme.

The release indicated that the scheme was necessary to protect and ensure the overall wellbeing of the citizens of the State.
