OGUN MSME BUSINESS CLINIC 3.0 TO HOLD TUESDAY
The Ogun State Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment will on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, host the third edition of its MSME Business Clinic, aimed at supporting the growth and development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the state. The programme is scheduled to hold at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Kuto, Abeokuta, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
According to a release signed by the Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, Mr. Adebola Sofela, the initiative forms part of the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun, CON’s commitment to creating opportunities that enable small businesses to grow and thrive.
Sofela added that participants would have access to regulatory guidance, mentorship, and practical business support, with grants available for eligible entrepreneurs to help scale their operations.
He explained that the clinic will provide business owners the opportunity to engage directly with key regulatory and financial institutions, including the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Bank of Industry (BOI), and the Ogun State Agricultural and Multipurpose Credit Agency (OSAMCA).
The Commissioner further noted that participants will receive guidance on exporting products through the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), as well as updates on new tax regulations from the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) and the Ogun State Internal Revenue Service (OGIRS), ensuring they are well-equipped to navigate the business landscape.
Sofela added that the event will feature one-on-one advisory sessions and a Business Pitch Competition, providing entrepreneurs with a platform to showcase innovative ideas and receive mentorship and strategic support to grow their businesses.
