It was a moment of genuine emotion, overwhelming excitement and unforgettable memories as Hon. Akeem Akintayo Amosun was left visibly astonished after walking into a meticulously planned surprise birthday celebration organised in his honour at his residence, AK City, Abeokuta by members of Akeem Amosun Political Movement.

The expression on his face told the entire story. For a brief moment, he stood speechless, completely caught unaware as deafening cheers erupted from every corner. What began as an ordinary arrival instantly transformed into a spectacular celebration as hundreds of loyal political followers, associates, friends and admirers welcomed him with resounding applause, joyful shouts and heartfelt embraces. The surprise was flawlessly executed, leaving the revered political leader overwhelmed with gratitude.

His entrance into the venue was nothing short of majestic. As he stepped into the well coordinated and organized arena, echoes of traditional chants, cultural drumbeats and melodious songs of celebration rented the air. Supporters broke into energetic dance, waving banners and chanting solidarity songs that reflected their unwavering loyalty and admiration for the man many describe as a bridge-builder, grassroots mobiliser, mentor and compassionate leader. The electrifying atmosphere instantly turned AK City into a carnival of joy and appreciation.

The venue was filled to the brim with political leaders, followers, party faithful, community leaders, youths, women groups and well-wishers from within and outside Abeokuta South Local Government. Every available space radiated warmth, excitement and unity as guests gathered with one purpose to celebrate a leader whose influence continues to resonate across communities.

The colourful gathering further demonstrated the widespread acceptance and political strength Hon. Amosun enjoys among the people.

One of the major highlights of the celebration was the overwhelming presentation of surprise gifts from members of the Akeem Amosun Political Movement, representing all the fifteen wards of Abeokuta South Local Government and beyond under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress (APC). From beautifully wrapped gift packages, mountain cakes to specially commissioned souvenirs and goodwill presentations, every ward proudly expressed its love and appreciation for the celebrant, reaffirming the strong bond that exists between Hon. Amosun and his loyal political family.

The celebration also witnessed a flood of glowing tributes from APC Ward Chairmen across Abeokuta South Local Government. One after another, they extolled Hon. Amosun's exceptional leadership qualities, political maturity, humility, accessibility and unwavering commitment to the growth of the party and the welfare of its members. They described him as a dependable pillar whose wisdom, sacrifice and relentless dedication have continued to inspire confidence and unity within the APC family.

Perhaps the most emotional moments of the event came when several beneficiaries of Hon. Amosun's numerous philanthropic interventions took turns to share heartfelt testimonies. Their voices echoed with gratitude as they recounted how the celebrant had positively transformed their lives through educational support, financial assistance, empowerment programmes, employment opportunities, healthcare interventions and countless acts of kindness carried out quietly without seeking public recognition. Many struggled to hold back tears while describing him as a God-sent benefactor whose generosity has restored hope to countless families.

OGSG APPOINTS CDA MEMBERS AS SECURITY NETWORK GOVERNING BOARD Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has approved the appointment of four distinguished members of Community Development Association (CDA) across the Remo, Ijebu, Yewa and Egba divisions of the state as members of the Governing Board, Ogun State Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps.
