Epe LG Boss Gifts Cash, Educational Materials To Students
Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, the Executive Chairman, Epe Local Government Council Area of Lagos State, has launched major educational support interventions providing millions of Naira in cash awards and learning materials to primary school students across the eight wards within the council area of the local government.
These initiatives, driven both by the council Chairperson, and Iya Epe Foundation, and were designed to ease the financial dependence and burden on parents, as well as to encourage academic excellence across the council area of the state.
The Chairperson emphasised that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, dream, and excel, noting that the foundation of a prosperous Epe was built by investing in its children today.
She assured residents that her administration would continue to champion initiatives that empower the next generation and unlock their full potential, saying that hundreds of primary school pupils were hosted to the memorable educational support programme filled with learning, inspiration, and hope.
"Investing in children is investing in the future, and I am promising the people today, especially the students that I will not relent in supporting them in all ramifications, it is our responsibility to support them through the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda initiatives," Princess Animashaun said.
She said that the programme was underscored her administration’s people-oriented approach to good governance and aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that it was reinforced a shared vision of building a brighter, and more prosperous future for every child in Epe.
While personally presenting the pupils with educational support materials and cash gifts, Princess Animashaun reaffirmed her administration’s unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds, promoting quality education, and ensuring that no child is left behind in the journey toward a brighter future.
The excited pupils were captivated by a specially produced animation showcasing the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, First Lady of the country, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Lagos state All Progressives Congress (APC), governorship candidate, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, Hon. Wale Raji, Hon. Abiodun Tobun, Hon. Sylvester Ogunkelu (Sketel), as well as the remarkable developmental strides of the Hon. Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun across the local government council area.
