The Chairman, Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Odulate, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to continue to ensure even distribution of dividends of democracy in the council area.

Hon. Odulate, stated this at the commissioning of Radelu road, Makun and 3 blocks of classrooms with an office at Anglican Primary School, Ketu, Makun, Sagamu.

He appreciated the Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration for his unflinching support to ensure good governance and overall development of the community, saying that the level of infrastructural development enjoyed presently should be highly appreciated.

“We are following the footsteps of our responsive and hardworking Governor, we remain ever grateful for his foresight and purposeful leadership traits. The level of infrastructural development being enjoyed across the State during his tenure is highly commendable and worthy of emulation”, he said.

The Local Government Boss noted that the  commissioned  project was initiated by the councillor representing ward 12, Hon. Oseni Ridwan, which was also a promise kept to reflect his administration’s responsiveness to the needs of the people and in fulfilment of his electioneering campaign to deliver impactful infrastructure to enhance socio economic development of the community and improve the standard of living of the residents, adding that the road would ease vehicular and human movement in the area.

Similarly, the Council Boss explained that the 3-block classroom which was also commissioned at Anglican Primary School, Ketu, Mosimi, was aimed at creating an enabling environment for the student to enhance their performance, adding that it was also aimed at providing them with the needed resources to excel academically.

He noted that education remained one of the most effective tools for community development, urging the students to remain committed to their studies to attain a greater height.

In his goodwill message, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Ganiyu Hamzat, appreciated the members of staff and legislative arm of the Council for their continued support to the executive arm for a successful tenure, saying no meaningful development could be achieved in an unstable environment.

He urged the residents to continue to support the present administration in order to enjoy more dividends of democracy, advising them to imbibe a maintenance culture and desist from dumping refuse in drainages and waterways to avert flooding.

In his response, youth leader of the community, Muhammed Ismail appreciated the government for the initiative and swift response, pledging the people’s continued support to government’s programmes and policies.

 Romoke Ismail, appreciated the present administration for its continued support to the council for making life more meaningful for them, saying that the project would enhance vehicular and human movement in the area and improve socio economic activities of the area.
