DR. DARE OWOTOMOBI COMMISERATES WITH SENATOR YARI OVER DEATH OF MATERNAL AUNT
The Global Chairman of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard (BATSV), Nigeria and Diaspora, Ambassador (Dr.) Dare Owotomobi, has commiserated with the Director-General of the Principal Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar, over the death of his maternal aunt, Hajiya Rukiya (Rakkiya) Jibril of Zamfara State.

Hajiya Rukiya passed away at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto, on the evening of Tuesday, September 15, 2026, after a brief illness. She was the immediate younger sister of Senator Yari’s mother and was 85 years old.

In a condolence message issued on Thursday, September 17, 2026, Dr. Owotomobi urged Senator Yari and the bereaved family to accept the deceased’s passing as the will of Almighty Allah, who gives and takes life.

He encouraged the family to draw comfort from the worthy life, values and legacy of their matriarch, while praying for the repose of her soul.

The BATSV Global Chairman acknowledged that losing a beloved family member is painful, despite the deceased having lived to a ripe age of 85. He expressed his sympathy to Senator Yari and the entire family, asking Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings and grant her eternal rest.

Dr. Owotomobi noted that moments of bereavement remind humanity of the supremacy of Almighty Allah and the transient nature of life. He urged the bereaved family to remain steadfast in faith and find strength in the belief that every human being will one day return to their Creator.

He further assured Senator Yari and his family of the solidarity and support of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard, Nigeria and Diaspora, during this period of grief.

The BATSV boss prayed that Almighty Allah would grant the deceased eternal rest and give Senator Yari and the entire family the strength, patience and fortitude to bear the loss.

He also urged Senator Yari, as a devoted Muslim, to remain strong in faith and continue to discharge his responsibilities with wisdom and dedication in his new assignment.
