DAHUA PAPER COMPANY SEALS FOR OPERATING ILLEGAL DUMPSITE, BURNING WASTE. Ogun State Waste Management Authority,OGWAMA has sealed a paper processing company, Dahua Paper Company Limited,Owiwi Village, near Obada-Oko, Abeokuta for creating and operating an illegal dumpsite and also burning of waste contrary to the State Environmental and Public Health Law 2006 and Section 2b(a) of OGWAMA Law 2020 which strictly prohibit open burning of waste for individuals and corporate entities. Ogun Health Commissioner Urges Schools to Intensify HPV Vaccination Awareness The Ogun State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Tomi Coker, has called on school administrators and health teachers across the state to intensify efforts in educating learners on the benefits of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine as a key measure in preventing cervical cancer. Dr. Coker made the call during a sensitisation follow-up meeting on Routine Immunization and HPV vaccines with school heads health teachers from the state’s Local Government Areas, held in Abeokuta.
